A Trump supporter interrupted a Chicago performance of Hamilton over the weekend, shouting profanities and election-related statements at the cast, BroadwayWorld reported.
The disruption came after the cast sang the line, "Immigrants / We get the job done," which is one of the most overtly political references in the play and usually gets a big reaction from the audience, the Chicago Tribune added.
The man shouted "We won! You Lost! Get over it! **** you" and continued disturbing the performance during two songs until security escorted him out of the theater.
The incident followed a performance of the show the night before in New York in which some members of the audience booed Vice President-elect Mike Pence, who was in attendance, and a cast member at the end of the play read from a prepared statement addressed directly to Pence pleading that the new administration represent all Americans fairly.
President-elect Donald Trump criticized the Hamilton cast on Twitter for "harassing" Pence and demanded an apology even after the vice president-elect said he was not offended by the incident, saying "that is was freedom sounds like."
Trump sent out another tweet on Sunday further slamming the show, which has been very popular.
