The office of Sen. Dean Heller, R-Nev., in Las Vegas was broken into and a threatening note was left behind, 8 News NOW reported Sunday, citing an unnamed source.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed an entry was made at an office located in the vicinity of Heller's office, but would not state if there was a threatening note.
A spokesman for Heller said, "We can't comment on/discuss ongoing investigations." Heller has made headlines recently as a possible swing vote on the Senate's healthcare legislation.
