MSNBC's Joe Scarborough is sick and tired of Republicans whining about the United States, and he was a desk-pounding, red-faced and angry critic of his own political party's candidates Monday morning.

The "Morning Joe" host went into a post-Independence Day patriotic tirade on his show during a discussion of a Politico report about GOP candidates and their holiday message of gloom and warnings of the death of American dream, telling Republicans to leave their whining to the Democrats.

Democrats, especially President Barack Obama and front-runner Hillary Clinton, don't project a "positive, sunshine patriot view of America," said Scarborough — and then he turned red in the face and slammed his desk for emphasis as he told "the great news."

"We’re still the greatest country in the world," Scarborough said. "Even the Chinese say eight of the top 10 universities on the planet are ours."

There's also an "energy revolution" that's happened, even with Washington's regulations, he said, as "it was American ingenuity that figured out how to drill sideways, draw more energy up."

The country is also going to "control the next century" with technology, as "we've got Apple. We've got Intel. We've got the tech sector," Scarborough said. "We've got the smartest, most brilliant people in the world."

"All we have to do is get Washington out of its way, and I’m not even running for anything!" Scarborough said, building his argument. "I’m saying it because I believe it! Warren Buffett believes it! He doubled down on America when everybody else was running for the exits, and he made gazillions of dollars!"

He said he wonders why no Republicans believe the new American century will be better than the last.

"And I’m dead serious! I’m so tired of them whining!" he yelled. '"Let the Democrats whine!"

He then mocked Democrats with a whining voice, saying "'we're such an awful people to everybody else,'" before returning to his own angry tone.

"We have fed and freed more people than anybody else in the history of the globe, and we do it whether there’s a Democrat in office or a Republican in office," he said. "And my God, I have never seen a century more lined up to be exploited by American genius and American know-how than a century that’s going to be decided on technology and talent!"
