Giuliani: Add Clinton's Claim About Powell to Her 'Book of Lies'

Hillary Clinton got away with using a personal email server because the nation has a "politicized Justice Department," and her comments that Colin Powell advised her to use a private server should be added to the "book of Clinton lies," former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani insisted Monday.

"That's like the new play next year, the 'Book of Mormon,' the 'Book of Clinton lies,'" Giuliani told Fox News' "Fox & Friends" program. "Except that it will be a one-week long play. I mean, I can't count them by now. I try to keep track of them. She lies every day. Every day."

Powell on Monday denied that he told Clinton to use a private server, saying he only sent her a memo a year after her server had already been in place. He did say he used a private email account for personal communications, but not for official business, and Giuliani said he did the right thing.

"What she did is outrageous," said Giuliani. "It's criminal. The only way, the only reason she got away with it is because we have a politicized Justice Department, not a real Justice Department."

Giuliani also sounded off about the Clinton Foundation, calling it a "straight out-and-out racketeering enterprise."

"[There are] at least 12 situations in which hundreds of millions of dollars flowed through that Clinton Foundation. On the other side in the State Department, Hillary, Huma Abedin, all the people close to her were doing favors for the people paying the money," said Giuliani. "And if the Justice Department is not investigating that, then the Justice Department is a disgrace."

Giuliani also speculated on Clinton's health, telling the program he thinks "Hillary is tired" and appeared "pathetic" when she was at a press event with police officers recently.

"She looked completely uncomfortable saying anything pro police," he said. "It was a complete joke because she [was] surrounded by four or five Democratic-appointed political police chiefs. We know, just go ask any cop right out there, we know who the police are supporting. All of them. And she's never apologized to them. And she's supposed to be a lawyer?"

Clinton failed the bar exam the first time she took it, Giuliani said, complaining the "liberal press" would "never tell you that."

That was confirmed several years ago, however, in journalist Carl Bernstein's biography of Clinton, reports Politifact.

"I remind you, it's possible she doesn't understand the presumption of innocence because she failed the bar exam the first time," Giuliani said, repeating the news that she'd failed in Washington D.C. before passing it in Arkansas.
