Qatar Replaces Shura Council Elections With Appointments

Qatar's constitutional referendum has passed with a 90.6% majority, replacing legislative elections for the Shura Council, the Islamic advisory body of Saudi Arabia, with appointed roles, state TV said early on Wednesday.
