Edward Pentin, a longtime Vatican expert and Rome correspondent for the National Catholic Register, tells Newsmax in an exclusive interview that a “deep concern and unease” has emerged regarding Pope Francis’ papacy as some leading clerics have called for his resignation.

Pentin and National Catholic Register, along with LifeSiteNews, were the first to translate a controversial 11-page letter by Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò into English, and report his accusations to an English-speaking audience.
