Fifty-nine percent of voters don’t have much trust or any trust at all in President Donald Trump when it comes to healthcare, a new Politico/Morning Consult poll reveals.
Just 40% say they have a lot of trust or some trust in Trump on the issue.
Here are the results of the poll released on Wednesday:
- 58% say they don’t have much trust or any trust in Republicans on healthcare, compared to 41% who have a lot of trust or some trust in the GOP when it comes to dealing with the issue.
- 46% say they don’t have much trust or any trust in Democrats on healthcare, while 53% say they have a lot of trust or some trust.
- 48% say they approve of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) while 40% disapprove.
- 47% say the ACA, should be repealed in part or repealed completely, while 38% say it should be expanded or kept as it is.
- 52% support a Medicare for All healthcare system, compared to 35% who oppose it.
- 81% say special counsel Robert Mueller’s report should be made public, while 19% say it should not.
- 51% say it is very likely or somewhat likely Russia has compromising information on Trump, while 37% say it is not very likely or not likely at all.
- 43% say they do not believe Trump’s campaign worked with Russia to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election, compared to 40% who think it did.
The poll, conducted March 29-April 1, surveyed 1,945 registered voters. The margin of error is plus or minus 2 percentage points.
