Former Vice President Joe Biden is ahead of all Democratic presidential hopefuls in Texas, according to a new poll by the Texas Lyceum.
The Texas poll results, released Thursday, were detailed in a report in The Dallas Morning News.

- 24% support Biden
- 18% favor Beto O’Rourke, the former congressman from Texas
- 15% back Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts
- 13% support Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont
- 4% favor Sen. Kamala Harris of California
- 4% back Julián Castro, the former San Antonio, Texas mayor
The poll, conducted Aug. 16-25, surveyed 1,200 Texas adults. The margin of error is plus or minus 2.83 percentage points.
