Drones Provide 'True Enhancement' to Law Enforcement

As police departments continue to struggle with recruitment and retention of personnel, some police chiefs facing rising crime rates in their cities are looking for help any way they can get it, including by turning to a technological innovation: drones.

While police agencies have for years relied on tactical drones to respond to certain types of emergencies, more agencies are now experimenting with expanding their use – and it's a shift that law enforcement experts say is a "good model."
