A man on Tuesday climbed the 50-story Devon Tower in downtown Oklahoma City as a protest against abortion, according to local news station KFOR.

The man, identified as Maison Des Champs, uploaded an Instagram story of the climb to his account, where he describes himself as the "pro-life Spider-Man," in which he asked viewers to make donations to an anti-abortion organization.

Des Champs was reportedly arrested by authorities upon reaching the top of the tower, which is the tallest building in the state. He previously climbed the Salesforce Tower in San Francisco and the New York Times Building in protests against abortion, and the Aria Hotel in Nevada to protest the state’s COVID-19 safety mandates.

"This morning a climber scaled the side of Devon Tower. We are happy to report that he is now safe," Devon Energy tweeted on Tuesday. "A huge thank you to our local OKC emergency responders for getting here quickly and taking action."

Des Champs previously told Newsmax in an interview: "I do feel bad about taking up the police officers' time and resources, but I think the problem is that these police stations, we need to fund them. The problem is that these officers need funding to go after the right things."
