New York City police officers and investigators from the Manhattan district attorney's office raided the headquarters of Newsweek magazine and its parent company Thursday, the New York Post is reporting.

About two dozen cops and investigators were photographing servers, focusing on serial numbers of the equipment, the Post reports.

Newsweek's parent company is IBT Media, and one of its co-founders, Etienne Uzac, was slapped with a $1.2 million tax lien from the IRS last month, the Post reports.
