Twitter Makes Memes of Glowering Schumer, Pelosi

Twitter was on fire with memes of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer looking goofy after they delivered the Democratic response to President Donald Trump's speech Tuesday night.

Some users compared them to the models in the famous "American Gothic" painting, while others tried to write humorous captions to images of Pelosi and Schumer looking straight at the camera with odd looks on their faces.

"When you think you can sneak into the house after staying out too late, but Mom & Dad are up waiting for you in the living room," wrote Town Hall's Guy Benson.

Jon Gabriel of the conservative website Ricochet wrote, "Your father and I aren't angry with you, just ... disappointed."
