Rupert Murdoch Tweets About 'Jihadist Cancer' Following Paris Attack

Saturday, 10 January 2015 07:01 PM EST

Rupert Murdoch is not staying silent when it comes to the terror attacks that gripped France this week.

The CEO and chairman of 21st Century Fox tweeted: "Maybe most Moslems peaceful, but until they recognize and destroy their growing jihadist cancer they must be held responsible. Big jihadist danger looming everywhere from Philippines to Africa to Europe to US. Political correctness makes for denial and hypocrisy."

The Hollywood Reporter said he was criticized in December after he tweeted congratulations to the Australian Daily Telegraph, which is part of his News Corp. empire, for scooping the competition in its coverage of a siege in Sydney.
