A group of women at Fox News banded together to help oust former CEO Roger Ailes, Fox correspondent Megyn Kelly writes in her new book "Settle for More," Business Insider reports.
"Somehow, they found the courage to risk it all. They want their anonymity, and I will respect their wishes, but as a result, they will never get the credit they deserve," Kelly wrote. "All I can say is, I am incredibly proud of each and every one of them."
Kelly was a key part of Ailes' ouster in July after she came forward with claims of sexual harassment by her then-boss. In her book, she wrote that she denied his advances and, he in turn hinted that she would be fired.
"I would be called into Roger's office, he would shut the door, and over the next hour or two, he would engage in a kind of cat-and-mouse game with me — veering between obviously inappropriate sexually charged comments (e.g. about the 'very sexy bras' I must have and how he'd like to see me in them) and legitimate professional advice," she wrote in her book, according to a report obtained by Radar Online.
Sexual harassment claims were started against Ailes by former high profile news anchor Gretchen Carlson.
