There is an "unbelievable double standard" in the way ex-Attorney General Loretta Lynch was treated after her meeting with former President Bill Clinton amid the FBI's Hillary Clinton email probe — and that of Michael Flynn's meeting with a Russian ambassador, commentator Jeffrey Lord said Wednesday.
In remarks on Newsmax TV's "America Talks Live," Lord, a contributing editor at The American Spectator, lamented "elites out there . . . have one standard for themselves and another standard for regular Americans."

"This is just an unbelievable double standard," he said, adding "nothing happens" after the Clinton-Lynch meeting on an airport tarmac, but Flynn, the former national security adviser, has been charged with lying about his contacts with the Russian ambassador.
The Justice Department Inspector General had criticized Lynch's meeting with Clinton in a review of the FBI's handling of the Clinton email probe; she later accepted the findings of the FBI in the investigation, amid backlash over her encounter with the former president.
Lynch appeared Wednesday before GOP members of the House Judiciary and Oversight committees, which are wrapping up their months-long investigation into the handling of the FBI's investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server, and their separate probe into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
