Today’s high-tech U.S. military literally runs on batteries -- and the Pentagon is worried that if war breaks it could find itself low on power.

Whether it's communication devices, drone controllers, sensors, laptops, or detonators, soldiers today rely on batteries just as much as U.S. civilians, maybe more.
