Cleveland Cavaliers megastar LeBron James on Tuesday said that no matter which team wins the NBA championship, "no one wants the invite" to the White House anyway.
James made the comments during a press conference ahead of Wednesday's Game 3 of the NBA Finals between his Cavs and the Golden State Warriors. James was asked about President Donald Trump disinviting the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles from a White House visit.
"It's typical of him. I'm not surprised," James said. "I know no matter who wins this series, no one wants the invite anyway. It won't be Golden State or Cleveland going."
Warriors star Steph Curry simply said, "I agree with Bron."
Golden State coach Steve Kerr, a frequent and vocal critic of Trump, also agreed and added another biting critique of the president.
"The president has made pretty clear he's going to try and divide us, all of us in this country for political gain," Kerr said.
The Warriors are up 2-0 in the best-of-7 series.
