Kim Kardashian West said Monday night that she has "nothing bad to say" about President Donald Trump because he "has done something amazing" in pardoning Alice Johnson.
Kardashian West met with Trump in May to ask him to grant Johnson, a 62-year-old woman who was serving a life sentence for a drug charge conviction, a presidential pardon, which he did in June.
“I knew that there was only one person in power who could make this change, who could get this woman out of prison, so I went for it,” the reality show star said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Monday night.
She added that despite her fame, she felt overwhelmed when visiting the White House.
"Honestly, I walk in, and I look in, and I’m kinda starstruck." she said. "Holy s--t. What in the f--k. The Oval Office! Wait a minute — I’m really here."
Kardashian West added that she was in the midst of a nude photo shoot when Trump called her after commuting Johnson’s sentence.
"He called me. So, I was at a Steven Klein photoshoot. ... So I'm naked, and I'm all glammed up, my phone rings, and I'm like, 'Get me a robe!'" Kardashian West said.
"I was kinda bugging out during the shoot. I'm like, 'Do I do this nude shoot? Do I not do this nude shoot?' And I did it, and then I called Alice."
Kimmel then suggested that the president might have release the "whole prison" if he’d known she was naked while on the phone.
