Jenna Bush Hager announced on Monday that she had given birth on Friday to a son, CNN reported.
Hager, “Today” co-host and the daughter of former President George W. Bush, said the baby’s name is Henry Harold Hager, or Hal, for short. He weighs 7 pounds and 5 ounces.
It is her third child with husband Henry Hager, along with daughters Mila, 6, and Poppy, 3.
Hager said the baby's first name comes from her husband, and his middle name comes from her grandfather, Laura Bush's father, Harold Welch.
She made the announcement on Instagram and included pictures.
"Mila and Poppy came and picked him out in the nursery, and they're just crazy about him," Hager said when she called into the “Today” show to share the news. "The girls are so thrilled that they have a little baby brother all of their own," adding that they are already calling him “Hal pal.”
The rest of Bush Hager’s family also came to the hospital to meet Hal, including the former president and former first lady Laura Bush, as well as Bush Hager's twin sister Barbara and her husband, Craig Coyne, according to Town & Country.
"My sister came the first day with donuts, which I don't think you're supposed to eat right after a C-section, but I went for it," Bush Hager joked while speaking on “Today.”
