A New York public relations expert has reportedly dropped the family real estate company of President Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, as a client.
Crisis management consultant Risa Heller had represented Kushner Cos. for just over a year and a half – longer than many of her predecessors working in media relations with family patriarch Charlie Kushner, Jared's father, Politico reported.
Heller also served as a spokeswoman for Jared Kushner before he joined the White House – and then for his wife, Ivanka Trump, before she took an official role in the administration, including in the rollout of her self-help book, "Women Who Work."
But previously, Heller was known as a Democratic operative, serving as former spokeswoman for Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and as a close friend and adviser to former Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y. She heads up her own firm, Risa Heller Communications.
