Targeting women voters, Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign will be holding over 150 events this week which include voter registrations, roundtables, and phone banks across the country, according to The Washington Post.
Chelsea Clinton, who is set to return to the campaign after delivering her second child, will be among the prominent names featuring in the week of "Women Together" activities, to be held in Carlisle and Scranton, Pa., on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
According to the report, Anne Holton, the wife of Clinton's running mate, Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, will conduct a roundtable event in Dallas focused on women, children and families. Holton will also attend a "women-to-women" phone bank in Phoenix on Wednesday, the report stated.
"Women have been a driving force behind this campaign since day one, and we are so grateful for the support and tremendous contributions they have made to this historic campaign," Mini Timmaraju, the campaign's women's vote director said.
"This week, a diverse coalition of women across the country will come together for a week of action to encourage women in their communities to register and commit to vote and join us in working to ensure that Hillary Clinton is elected our next president,” she added.
President Obama's half-sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng; Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards; NARAL Pro-Choice America President Ilyse Hogue; and "Sex in the City" actress Kristin Davis are among others who will feature in the events for Clinton.
