Hillary on Border Clash: 'This Is Wrong'

Hillary Clinton joined a chorus of Democrats to denounce what happened at the United States' southern border on Sunday, which saw migrants rushing the border get pushed back by tear gas fired from the American side.

"This is wrong," Clinton wrote on Twitter. She linked to a New York Times story about the altercation.

As migrants ran around Mexican federal police officers and sprinted at the U.S. border, U.S. Border Patrol agents fired tear gas at them after they were hit with bottles and rocks. The counter offensive worked and the migrants eventually stopped coming at the border.

Mexico said it would deport the 500 people who tried to storm the U.S. border.
