Former Fox News and MSNBC host Greta Van Susteren will debut her own show Wednesday on the government-funded news outlet Voice of America.
Van Susteren — a contributor for the network since last fall — will host "Plugged In With Greta Van Susteren," a weekly 30-minute program, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which first broke the news Tuesday.
Van Susteren confirmed the news in a tweet:
And she also posted photos on Instagram as she prepared for her first show.
The host said on Twitter that she won't be paid and instead is volunteering to do the show "because I have lots of experience."
"Because it is VOA, it is not just three minutes with a guest and good-bye. We get to really explore the issues," Van Susteren told the Hollywood Reporter.
VOA is broadcast in the United States and internationally via internet stream.
Van Susteren left MSNBC last summer after a six-month stint with the network. Prior to that, she spent 14 years with Fox News, and eight years at CNN.
