Georgina Chapman, the estranged wife of Harvey Weinstein, has reached out to Huma Abedin, whose shared a similar experience with her own soon-to-be ex-husband, Page Six reports.

The Marchesa co-founder recently announced she is leaving her husband after the New Yorker revealed multiple sexual harassment allegations. Page Six cites an unnamed "well-placed source" who said Chapman reached out to Abedin, whose is leaving her husband, recently convicted sex offender and former congressman Anthony Weiner.

"One of the people Georgina has reached out to is Huma, who has been through this kind of scandal and media storm, and survived with her dignity intact," the source told Page Six. "They are both mothers, they have both been in a situation where their husbands turned out to be a different person than the man they thought they knew."

Abedin, formerly Hillary Clinton's top aide, met Chapman through her husband's fundraising for the former presidential candidate. This source told Page Six that the two have kept in communication outside of political events, and that Chapman contacted a number of public relations experts and crisis advisers this weekend, along with Abedin.
