Trump on Ga. House Runoff: 'It's Now Hollywood vs. Georgia'

President Donald Trump jabbed Democrats for failing to win a special election in Georgia and congratulated Republican Karen Handel for forcing a runoff.

Dems failed in Kansas and are now failing in Georgia. Great job Karen Handel! It is now Hollywood vs. Georgia on June 20th.

Handel will face Democrat Jon Ossoff in the June election for the House. Ossoff fell just shy of the 50 percent he needed to win the election outright, CNN noted.

During the campaign, Ossoff attracted support from Hollywood celebrities, including Chelsea Handler and Samuel L. Jackson, according to Fox News.
