Trump Praises 'Big R Win' in Georgia Special Election

President Donald Trump took to Twitter to praise Republican efforts in a special election in Georgia — a race now headed for a runoff.

Democrats had been hoping for a win for Jon Ossoff in the House race, but he failed to collect the necessary 50 percent of the vote, The Hill noted. He will now face Republican Karen Handel in a June runoff.
