Next month's presidential debate hosted by ABC is set to take place at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, the network said Friday.
Hosted by ABC News' David Muir and Linsey Davis, the debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris is slated for Sept. 10 at 9 p.m. EDT.
Harris' campaign has committed to two debates this cycle: ABC's event on Sept. 10 and a vice presidential debate between her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, and Trump's vice presidential pick, Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio, on Oct. 1.
During a news conference last week, Trump said he would be willing to debate Harris three times on three different networks in September.
The former president announced he was rejoining the ABC debate shortly after proposing three separate debates. He had previously said he would not take part in the ABC event due to a lawsuit he had filed.
Trump and President Joe Biden were originally set to square off at the ABC debate before the president ended his reelection bid in late July and endorsed Harris' candidacy.
Both campaigns are keen on courting voters in the key battleground state of Pennsylvania, which Trump won in 2016 and Biden won in 2020.
On Saturday, Trump is scheduled to hold a rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Harris and Walz appeared for the first time on stage together at a campaign event last week in Philadelphia.
According to the most recent RealClearPolitics' polling average, Trump has eked out a sliver of a lead on Harris in the Keystone State, with 47.8% support, compared to Harris' 47.6%.
