President Donald Trump and Melania Trump on Sunday attended a packed Easter service at an historic Episcopal church in Palm Beach, Fla.
According to the Palm Beach Post, the Trumps — accompanied by the president’s youngest daughter, Tiffany — entered Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal church through a side door, and were seated in the third row on the right side of the church.
The first lady wore a sleeveless, red print dress, while Tiffany Trump wore a light rose color shift. The president wore his customary suit, white shirt and red tie, the Post reported.
Before entering, however, Trump reiterated an earlier tweeted assertion about Mexico to a reporter as he walked to the church, the Post reported.
“If they’re not going to help us at the border, it’s a very sad thing,” he said, the Post reported. “Mexico has got help us at the border. And a lot of people are coming in because they want to take advantage of DACA. And we’re going to have to really see.
“They had a great chance, the Democrats blew it,” he continued. “They had a great, great chance. But we’ll have to take a look. But Mexico has got to help us at the border. They flow right through Mexico. They send them into the United States. Can’t happen that way anymore.”
Trump and his wife were married at the historic church in 2005 and have celebrated major holidays there, including last Christmas, The Hill noted. Trump and the first lady also attended Easter services at the church last year.
