The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is targeting 25 House Republicans in digital ads dealing with the government shutdown, Roll Call is reporting.

The ads are slated to begin Friday on Facebook.

A helicopter rescue crew is pictured in the ad with the words: “The Coast Guard, Border Patrol and TSA just missed another paycheck thanks to (name of lawmaker).”

According to Roll Call, the 25 lawmakers targeted, include: Reps. Brian Mast of Florida, Andy Barr of Kentucky, Rob Woodall of Georgia and Steve King of Iowa.

“When you work hard to keep our country safe, you should receive your paycheck, period,” DCCC spokesman Cole Leiter said. “But now, workers who risk their lives everyday are about to miss another paycheck as Republicans in Washington continue to play games with the lives of hardworking Americans, and their families’ livelihoods and financial security.”

Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., met with Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. Thursday to explore potential next steps for ending the shutdown.
