Hillary Clinton took to Twitter on Sunday to congratulate Emmanuel Macron for winning the presidency of France, while also slamming the media.
The former secretary of state was referring to criticism she received last week from reporters who took issue with her blaming Russia and FBI Director Jim Comey in part for her loss in the 2016 presidential election.
"I was on the way to winning until a combination of Jim Comey's letter on Oct. 28 and Russian WikiLeaks raised doubts in the minds of people who were inclined to vote for me, but got scared off. And the evidence for that intervening event is, I think, compelling, persuasive," Clinton said Tuesday.
