Hillary Clinton's relationship with the press appears to be cooling while Donald Trump is attempting to mend his past tiffs with the media.
The Democratic presidential nominee's campaign staff is striving to make sure that health reports about her coughing don't get out of control, according to The Hill.
In one instance, Clinton campaign spokesman Nick Merrill chastised NBC News reporter Andrew Rafferty, who wrote about Clinton's coughing on Twitter:
The story, which mentioned a "frog in Clinton's throat," was also attacked by Jon Favreau, a former speechwriter for President Barack Obama, who scolded in tweets:
At the same time, Trump ended his notorious blacklist of some media organizations, including The Washington Post. His campaign announced that news outlets that had been stopped from entering his campaign rallies would be allowed back in.
Clinton has finally allowed the media to fly with her on her campaign plane after being criticized for bucking tradition.
