Fox News host Bill O’Reilly says the "War on Christmas" is over, and he won.
O’Reilly said on
"The O’Reilly Factor" on Wednesday that, for the first time in the decade or so he’s been fighting the so-called war, he has received no reports of a store telling its employees they could not say "Merry Christmas" to customers.
O’Reilly and "Daily Show" host Jon Stewart have gone back and forth in recent years, with Stewart mocking O’Reilly for his reporting on the "War on Christmas" and O’Reilly promptly firing back with more examples that he said backed up his point.
O’Reilly appeared as a guest on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" Wednesday and repeated his claim of victory.
"It’s over. We won. Anybody can say Merry Christmas if they want to," he said.
