CNN's Chris Cuomo Calls 'Morning Joe' Hosts 'Boosters' of Trump

CNN morning anchor Chris Cuomo on Tuesday criticized his cable competitors, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, for being "boosters" of President-elect Donald Trump and "transition spokesmen."

Cuomo blasted his "Morning Joe" counterparts on Twitter amid reports that Scarborough is advising Trump and Brzezinski showed up at Trump Tower on Tuesday.

They have always been boosters. Things turned south when trump froze them out but coverage always stilted. They are transition spokesmen now https://t.co/gkW16uMPJ3

Scarborough, a former GOP congressman from Florida, in fact confirmed he had talked with Trump about his transition efforts.

And Brzezinski's presence reportedly had little to do with politics.

CNN, meanwhile, has taken the brunt of media criticism from Trump, who is in another Twitter battle with the network and has dogged the Jeff Zucker-led cable news channel for months.
