GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain went on
CNN to deny a new report that he conducted a 13-year affair that was about to be broadcast on WAGA in Atlanta.
Cain, whose campaign has been rocked by charges of sexual harassment, appeared on CNN’s Situation Room to preempt the charge.
The woman, identified by the Fox station as Ginger White, said in the local broadcast, "I was aware that he was married, and I was also aware that I was involved in a very inappropriate situation relationship."
Cain said he learned of the accusation after his lawyer talked to a reporter about it.
"This individual is going to accuse me of an affair for an extended period of time," Cain told CNN, adding, "It is someone that I know who is an acquaintance that I thought was a friend."
