Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif. said President Donald Trump is breaking the “cardinal rule of childish nicknames.”

"This is nothing new," Schiff said during an interview on “CNN Newsroom” on Tuesday. "We've seen these kind of childish nicknames for a year and a half, but he is violating the cardinal rule of childish nicknames, which is you've got to pick one and stick with it."

And The Hill noted: Trump has called Schiff a number of names, in recent weeks, including “little shifty Schiff” and “Little pencil neck Adam Schiff.” And the Trump re-election campaign has even started selling “Pencil-Neck Adam Schiff” shirts.

Schiff, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee., has been under attack since special counsel Robert Mueller completed his report.
