Joe Biden's Immigration Circus

United States Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware served from 1973 to 2009, and then as vice president of the United States from 2009 to 2017.

Joe Biden never really expected to run, let alone be elected president. His post-vice presidential actions establish this. It appears that Joe Biden is now a very wealthy man — after a lifetime of government service.

However, as of December 15, 2020, Joe Biden is on the outskirts of a federal criminal investigation or investigations of his son Robert Hunter Biden and his brother James.

Hunter Biden appears to be under investigation by U.S. Attorneys in Delaware and the Southern District of New York. James Biden appears to be under investigation by the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

So far, questions never asked of Joe Biden: "What did he know the scope of Hunter's China/Russia/Ukraine operations, and when did he know about the operations?"

President-elect Biden ignores and dismisses any allegations or questions concerning his son, Hunter. or other members of his family.

The recent revelations about criminal investigations of son, Hunter, and brother, James, receive no real news-coverage. The majority of American news outlets, press, TV-radio, or internet are anti-Trump. By default — pro-Biden.

A President Joseph R. Biden must put aside, if he can, his family business, and think and act as president of the United States — no small task.

Now, Biden's handlers will have him present a positive political face, but keep any answers to all questions to a minimum.

On his first day as president, Biden brags he will produce comprehensive immigration legislation "that creates a pathway to citizenship for 11 million migrants" living in the U.S. illegally.

This action would include a pathway to citizenship for "Dreamers." "Dreamers" (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals — DACA) are foreign-born children (birth up to 26 years of age) who crossed into the United States illegally, and now live in the country. Biden pledged to make the DACA program permanent. It is estimated that there are about 2 million "Dreamers" waiting in limbo for Biden to resolve their status.

These Biden actions are only a portion of his radical immigration proposals.

He promises to nullify Trump's travel ban applying to people from five Muslim majority countries from traveling to or migrating to the United States. The Supreme Court upheld an amended version of the ban on June 26, 2018.

Other Trump travel bans are: Executive orders 13769 (Jan. 2017) and 13780 (Mar. 2017) and Presidential Proclamations 9645 (Sept.2017) and 9723 (Apr. 2018). All Trump's travel bans will probably be canceled by Biden.

President Trump, on January 25, 2019, through the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) promulgated the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP), known as the "Remain in Mexico" program. The U.S. may turn back all non-Mexican illegal border-crossers to Mexico while their asylum claims are processed.

Alien advocates assert that Trump's MPP is nullifying the asylum laws. Trump knows that asylum-seekers, if permitted to reside in the country, rarely show up for an adjudication of their claims. Thus, Trump suggested that permitting illegal aliens to remain in the country awaiting a hearing, in fact meant free entry into the United States.

It is estimated that between 35,000 and 56,000 asylum-seekers in the country were sent back to Mexico in 2019 by the Trump administration. This "Remain in Mexico" plan was meant to gut the long-standing asylum system and the refugee program. Biden will open the border to these aliens.

The Electoral College vote on December 14, 2020 assures more illegal alien border-crossers — in the thousands, if not hundreds of thousands are U.S.-bound for immediate entry.

The socialist Democrats, the Biden cadre, now recognize that their campaign-talk is working — the border-gates are soon opened. The Wall Street Journal of December 9, 2020 and Reuters on December 10, 2020 noted the Biden cadre need to address the immigrant surges now and in the future, as it may get out of hand.

Immigrant surges will not be slowed by any virus. Biden's cadre realize this. It is one of several immigration balancing acts they must juggle.

The Biden-Harris team also has a balancing act to deal with its radical leftist support, its progressive support, its immigrant advocate support, its migrant demands with American citizen opposition to open-borders. Added to this is the looming economic crisis caused by the coronavirus.

As of January 20, 2021, Biden is the ring-master of the immigration circus, and all his acts must be winners.
