NBC: Shaheen Tops Sununu in N.H. Senate Race

NBC News projects that former New Hampshire Gov. Jeanne Shaheen will win the Senate seat currently held by Republican incumbent John Sununu.

Fox News reported that Shaheen had 57 percent of the vote to Sununu's 40 percent with 8 percent of precincts reporting.

NBC is also projecting that the Democrats will pick up a new governor's seat in Missouri with a win for Jay Nixon over Republican Kenny Hulshof.
