President Barack Obama needs to improve his policies substantially and quickly, or he’s going to be a one-term president, says Joe Scarborough, host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

The nation's problems aren’t all Obama’s fault, the former Florida Republican congressman writes on
Politico. “He inherited a broken financial system, a housing market in free fall and a debt that doubled during the Bush years.”
But Obama has worsened the crisis, Scarborough writes.
“Who knows? Maybe Obama can reverse the damage that he and Bush have done to America’s economy over the past decade,” he says. “Maybe the president will get serious about saving Social Security and Medicare. Maybe the commander in chief will have the courage to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and finally bring our troops home.”
But any moves have to be quick. “Time is running out,” Scarborough notes.
