Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, will announce that he’s running for president Friday morning, a source close to him told
Politico. Paul also ran a spirited but losing campaign for the Republican presidential nomination in 2008.

On Friday, he will give the word from New Hampshire during the 7 a.m. hour of ABC’s “Good Morning America.” Then at 10 a.m., Paul will speak in Exeter, part of his two-day swing through the state following a trip to Iowa. Paul also will give an address to the Grafton County Republican Memorial dinner Friday night.
He opened an Iowa campaign office outside Des Moines this week. He also garnered more than $1 million in a one-day online fundraising campaign on the day of the first GOP presidential debate last week.
