While many Democrats accuse Republicans of being insensitive to minorities, gay voters obviously disagree. More of them voted Republican than in any of the past three congressional elections, according to a CNN exit poll,
Politico reports.

Republicans received support from 31 percent of gay voters Tuesday, up 4 percentage points from 2008, 7 points from 2006 and 8 points from 2004.
“The gay left would have you believe that gay conservatives don’t exist,” says GOProud Executive Director Jimmy LaSalvia in a statement. “Now we see that almost a third of self-identified gay voters cast ballots for Republican candidates for Congress in this year’s midterm.”
He says, “This should be a wake-up call for the out-of-touch so-called leadership of Gay Inc. in Washington, D.C., which has become little more than a subsidiary of the Democrat Party.”
