Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee, is optimistic when it comes to next year’s presidential election. He thinks the Republican nominee will take down President Barack Obama.

"I don't expect him to be re-elected," Priebus told Fox News. He’s likely encouraged by polls showing that Obama doesn’t hold large leads against his potential Republican opponents.
The economy could prove to be Obama’s downfall, Priebus says.
“I think this election is going to be a referendum on how this president is handling the economy. People are going to ask the famous question: are you better off today than you were four years ago?"
More GOP candidates may well jump into the fray, Priebus says, adding, "I still think it's a little early to see where this field's going to be."
