Potential Republican presidential candidates are providing a major boost for New Hampshire Republican candidates in this year’s election. The presidential contenders are visiting the early primary state to test the presidential waters. An

fundraisers and donating money as well, Roll Call reports.
“All of the major candidates have been extremely helpful in allowing us to raise the resources we need to win in November and getting exposure for our candidates,” said Ryan Williams, spokesman for the New Hampshire Republican Party. “It also gets our supporters actively engaged before the Democrats. They’re excited to see national figures come to the state.”
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has come to New Hampshire five times since April, and Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty has appeared four times since December. In addition, they’re both donating campaign money.
