House Budget Committee Chairman Rep. Paul Ryan says he might
run for the Senate, in light of Wisconsin Democratic Sen. Herb Kohl’s Friday announcement he would not seek re-election,
Politico reports.
“It was a bit of a surprise to all of us,” Ryan said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “So my family and voters [have] just started digesting this. I plan on making an announcement very quickly.”
Kohl is serving his fourth term.
