For MSNBC star commentator Keith Olbermann, it’s a case of “Do as I say, not as I do.” The liberal standard bearer gave campaign donations to two Democratic Arizona congressmen and losing Kentucky Democratic Senate candidate Jack Conway,
Politico reports.

Not only does that contrast with his criticism of political donations made by Fox News’ parent company News Corp., but it may constitute a violation of NBC ethics policies.
Olbermann acknowledged making maximum legal contributions of $2,400 each to Conway and to Arizona Reps. Raul Grijalva and Gabrielle Giffords. He gave to the Arizona duo on Oct. 28, the same day that Grijalva appeared as a guest on Olbermann’s “Countdown” show.
Olbermann wasn’t the only MSNBC official to criticize News Corp.’s donations. MSNBC President Phil Griffin told The New York Times last month, “Show me an example of us fundraising.” Oops.
