Outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi may well need an image makeover. But she apparently isn’t going to be getting it from legendary Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg. A Spielberg spokesman denies a Washington Post report that Pelosi asked for the

director's advice as part of a personal rebranding effort, The Hill reports.
"[Wednesday's] story regarding Nancy Pelosi made a reference to Steven Spielberg that requires a response," spokesman Marvin Levy tells The Hollywood Reporter. "I can say as a long-time spokesman for Steven that he has made it his career to direct actors, not political figures."
The Post cited unnamed lawmakers saying that Pelosi went to Spielberg for help. Congressional Republicans used Pelosi’s lack of popularity to strong effect in last month’s midterm elections.
