It appears that if the GOP regains control of the House next week, as expected, House Minority Leader John Boehner will become House Speaker. But it’s not a certainty. Powerful Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minnesota, says she won’t necessarily vote for Boehner as speaker,
The Hill reports.

The only way Boehner is guaranteed her vote is if he’s the only candidate available, Bachmann said in a debate on Minnesota Public Radio. The conservative Bachmann has strong ties to the tea party movement.
"Right now, we don't know exactly who the candidates will be. It may be John Boehner," she says. "If John Boehner's the only candidate running, I'll be voting for John Boehner. I would look at all the candidates and weigh it accordingly."
