mccain, obama, libya“Maybe this time the American electorate is interested in someone who has a proven record rather than rhetoric,” McCain told reporters Wednesday. He said the U.S. military should be doing more in the fight against Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi.

“The president’s emphasis seems to be on leaving the conflict rather than winning the conflict,” McCain said. “The worst result, a very bad result, of this conflict would be a stalemate, and I hope that we are able to prevail to get [Gadhafi] to leave, but hope is not a strategy.”
