Democratic Rep. John Conyers is facing complaints from neighbors that a house he owns on the east side of Detroit is a dilapidated

eyesore, reports
WJBK-TV.
According to the station's website, this is the second Detroit-area Conyers home targeted by neighbors for being unsightly. The first home was painted and has its yard mowed after complaints were aired publicly.
The second house is in poor condition, but one neighbor told the TV station that her complaints have fallen on deaf ears.
"I called. I sent emails, and he doesn't respond to either," Margo Maxwell told WJBK.
Another neighbor told the station that she won't let a grandchild play near the house, for fear of an attack by an animal that might be living inside.
Conyers also owes $592.55 in back taxes, according to WJBK.
