Tuesday, 14 September 2010 11:00 AM EDT

Republican Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels is making moves under the radar to explore a 2012 presidential bid. He’s been gathering with GOP bigwigs on the political, business and donor side from all over the country to build support, according to politico.com.

Indiana, Daniels, Hints, Presidential, RunThe governor has given little indication in public that a run for the White House is in the offing. But the meetings, which have taken place at the governor’s residence in Indianapolis, are designed to put Daniels in touch with the Republican movers and shakers who can fund his campaign and provide policy advice.
