Perry Throws Jabs at Paul on Facebook and Twitter

By    |   Tuesday, 27 December 2011 12:29 PM EST

With only days left before Iowa’s first-in-the-nation caucuses, presidential hopeful Rick Perry took jabs at fellow Texan Ron Paul on Facebook and Twitter today.

If Washington’s the problem, why trust a congressman to fix it,” Perry’s team Tweeted.

And Perry had this to say about the Texas congressman on Facebook: "Ron Paul is surging in the Republican presidential race. Just not among Republicans."

Paul did not address the Perry comments on his Twitter or Facebook account. Instead he focused on getting out the vote.

“Voting in 7 Days! You can help by joining our phone from home program," Paul’s team wrote on Facebook.
